ICN is committed to creating a more well-rounded beach volleyball community in Nevada that

caters to adaptive athletes. To help facilitate this goal ICN is negotiating with Nevada beach

volleyball tournaments and leagues to invite all adaptive players to participate in able-bodied

play. Currently we have interest and confirmation from the Las Vegas Beach Volleyball Club.

Their 2023 tournaments on October 1, October 23, November 12, and December 10 will be the

first in Las Vegas to welcome adaptive volleyball players.

We are also partnering with Las Vegas Beach Volleyball to provide all interested staff, coaches,

and players adaptive educational possibilities. We will offer scholarships for adaptive players to

participate in training and tournaments as well as provide mentorship with gold medal winning

players and coaches from world championships and the Paralympics. This mentorship will

include topics such as best practices, game day tips, as well as types of prosthetics and other

equipment needed to succeed at beach volleyball.
